Vice Detective Nick D’Amato has two good friends that he shares just about everything with. Everything except his relationship with a hustler named Will. Nick is beginning to fall hard for Will but Will isn’t convinced that a nice sedate life with his cop lover is exciting enough for him. When someone starts killing hustlers, Nick is terrified that Will could be the next victim. 

With the exception of Will being a hooker, Nick and Will actually have a great relationship. There is obvious love there and they are very happy, when they’re together. Dancing in the Dark is really well written and very good. It’s suspenseful, sexy, romantic and has great characterization. I was on the edge of my seat wondering if Will would stay a hustler. You’ll have to read Dancing in the Dark to see for yourself!
