Nick
recreates Colonial American history for a living. His job
has him living by day as a stable hand and talking to
tourists. One evening after falling asleep and missing a
ride home, back to modern living, Nick encounters David
Henry. Nick is surprised he has never seen David before, he
obviously worked at the site based on his colonial clothing
but Nick knew that there was no way he could have missed
seeing someone so beautiful.
David
told Nick he worked for the glass shop but when Nick
couldn’t find him the next day his hopes of getting better
acquainted start to diminish, until he encountered him again
that following evening. Will Nick’s hope of getting to know
David vanish again once morning arrive?
A
Haunted Love was not one of my favorite stories from
JM Snyder. I really liked the characters but the story
never really got going for me. There was nothing there for
me to gage whether or not I wanted David and Nick to be
together. I also was not very happy with the ending. It
was a happy ending but not a very telling ending. A
Hunted Love was not my cup of tea, but as a JM
Snyder fan I am glad that I read it. |
