Jenny Lad is waiting for her
boss to arrive at the annual Halloween party. Having left a
leather flogger for him on his desk, she plans to belly dance
for him as a goodbye gift. Because Jenny loves him, she is
unable to continue working for him. However, the tables turn
on Jenny’s plan because when she finishes her dance, Damon,
her boss claims her as his mate. Jenny doesn’t know it yet
but she has just enticed Damon’s inner lupine shifter to come
out and play.
Damianos “Damon” Alexander is
completely mesmerized by Jenny’s dance. So much so that when
she finishes, he declares her as his mate, although she
doesn’t know it. Whisking her away becomes a priority because
Damon’s wolf is itching to claim its mate and doesn’t want to
wait. Now all Damon has to do is convince her to stay with
him forever in spite of his lupine heritage. But his doubts
are hopefully for naught because Jenny knows all about things
that go bump in the night.
I really liked the premise of Dancing for the
Wolf, especially Damon’s claiming of Jenny
publicly. There is just something that makes my heart go
pitter pat when an alpha wolf claims his mate in front of an
audience. Damon was sensual and way sexy. His alphaness was
a complete turn on for me and lucky for him, Jenny liked it as
well.
There is nothing I found about
this book that I didn’t like. It was sexy, it was fun, and it
made me sweat. That pretty much takes the cake in my book. I
haven’t read very much from L. A. Day, but because of Dancing for the
Wolf, I plan to read more from this talented
writer.
