Kendall Turner is on the run. He’s sure
someone is setting him up, but he doesn’t know why. Turner
Scott, KT’s cousin, is called to “take care” of KT.
Normally, KT would be happy to see Turn - he’s been in love
with him forever - but he’s not sure whose side Turn’s on.
KT finds out his friend is dead at the same time a video
surfaces of them having sex. If KT doesn’t figure out what’s
really going on, he might be the next to end up dead.
KT is immersed in a sex, lies, and videotape scandal.
There’s a videotape of him having sex, his friend is killed,
and he finds out his family has been lying to him.
Turner and Turner: One Good Turn is hard to keep up
with. It’s as if the few paragraphs that would have
explained things are purposely deleted, leaving the reader
to figure it out on their own. It’s a wild and wacky
who-done-it. Add to that, a possibly taboo relationship
between Turn and KT, which I love. Turner and Turner:
One Good Turn is entertaining, but just when it
seems things are going to click, and I’d get the affirmation
of a relationship between Turn and KT, the story ends.
Turner and Turner: One Good Turn is off-beat and
intriguing. And I want more. |
