LAPD Detective Daniel Moran has been Sean Fairchildís bodyguard/boyfriend for a while now. Seanís acting career is about to take off thanks to a big role heís been wanting, but it means going to Wales for a few months and leaving Dan behind. Most relationships have their ups and downs, but dealing with a down thousands of miles apart isnít going to be easy. Dan was there to protect Sean when Paul Hammond stalked him, but now heís not and it looks like someoneís after Sean again.

The White Knight is the prequel/sequel to The Dark Horse. It goes back and forth from past to present. I would read The Dark Horse first.

Sean gets himself stuck between a rock and a hard place in The White Knight. His love for Dan and his need to prove himself to everyone, including himself, causes him to make a decision that needed more thought or at least, more planning.  The angst between Dan and Sean is so intense it had my stomach in knots. Dan and Sean are perfect together and when I say that, I mean really perfect, like soul mate perfect.  They are each otherís other half. Seanís insecurity and Danís need to protect go hand in hand. Josh Lanyon creates another well developed storyline with amazing characterization and a riveting plot in The White Knight.
