LAPD Detective Daniel Moran has been
Sean Fairchild’s bodyguard/boyfriend for a while now. Sean’s
acting career is about to take off thanks to a big role he’s
been wanting, but it means going to Wales for a few months
and leaving Dan behind. Most relationships have their ups
and downs, but dealing with a down thousands of miles apart
isn’t going to be easy. Dan was there to protect Sean when
Paul Hammond stalked him, but now he’s not and it looks like
someone’s after Sean again.
The White Knight is the
prequel/sequel to The Dark Horse. It goes back and
forth from past to present. I would read The Dark Horse
first.
Sean gets himself stuck between a rock and a hard place in
The White Knight. His love for Dan and his
need to prove himself to everyone, including himself, causes
him to make a decision that needed more thought or at least,
more planning. The angst between Dan and Sean is so intense
it had my stomach in knots. Dan and Sean are perfect
together and when I say that, I mean really perfect, like
soul mate perfect. They are each other’s other half. Sean’s
insecurity and Dan’s need to protect go hand in hand. Josh
Lanyon creates another well developed storyline with amazing
characterization and a riveting plot in The White
Knight. |
