Teddy Christopher and Parker Denton
have been best friends for fifteen years. And for fifteen
years, Parker has been bailing Teddy out of trouble, so this
time should be no different. Except it is. Parker refuses to
pretend he is Teddy’s boyfriend. He’s a little unsure why it
bothers him so much. Teddy’s straight, but there is more to
it than that. Teddy soon starts having feelings toward
Parker as well. They are both a little confused, but one hot
Caribbean night, they figure it all out.
Thanksgiving is a well
told story. Some parts may be too coincidental, but it still
works. Parker and Teddy definitely don’t rush into things,
which I like. As much as there are a few convenient
coincidences, there is also realism. Teddy and Parker
gradually fall for each other, which is really hot. Best
friends falling for each other, when done right, really
works and Thanksgiving is one of those
stories. |
