Jontie Rhodes is being seduced by two
immortals. James is a demon. He needs Jontie to save Edward
Carter so that James can fulfill his evil purposes. Gilbert
is an angel. He wants Jontie to allow Edward to die so that
Edward will go to hell, where he belongs. What’s a girl to
do when you have two hot guys ready to fulfill your every
desire? Jontie may change her mind when she finds out what
they’re up to.
There are stories that are well written and full of sex, and
then there are stories with a lot of sex but little plot.
Taking The Fall is the later. It has promise but
it falls flat because the story is more about the sex than
the plot. Jontie and the guys embark on a superficial
relationship that is loaded with sex, but not much else.
They know little about each other except that they are good
between the sheets. Because they aren’t a threesome and
Jontie is having sex with one in the morning and the other
at night, Taking The Fall is more of an
erotica story. The ending of Taking The Fall
is bittersweet and sad as well. |
