Captured and sold as a breeder, Sarah
Anders tries very hard to accept her fate but knows it is
only a matter of time before she is rescued – after all, she
is about the only scorcher around who can burn victims of
vile diseases to make the world a safe place to live. Given
to a fighter with mixed Dhemon and Azon blood because he is
coming into his heat, Sarah is shocked to realize that Athon
Kellan is a man making the best of a bad situation. As a
mate he is forceful and dominant, as a man he is everything
that Sarah would love to have for her very own.
Nothing was held back with
Scorcher! The love scenes were raw and gritty and
oh so very sexual. I liked the storyline and even was
surprised at the ending. Athon was a man after my own heart
because despite his brute strength and ability to kill, he
treated Sarah with nothing but love and while his sexual
dominance came to the forefront a good bit, he never hurt
her nor did he treat her as chattel. Scorcher
was a different type of romance and I just really liked it. |
