After being dumped by her boyfriend on
her way to a Halloween party, Jacquelyn is stuck in her
Little Red Riding Hood costume trying to get home. When she
realizes she has a wolf in her back seat, she panics and
tries to run away.
Baldric is a wolf and has been
searching for Jacquelyn since he met her as a child. He
knows that she’s his mate and will do anything to keep her
and protect her. But first, he has to get her to believe
that he’s really a wolf.
The Howl and the Pussycat is a wonderful
shifter story, and a really cute take on Red Riding Hood,
with a couple of twists and some really hot sex. I could see
instantly why Jacquelyn would be attracted to Baldric, he’s
a great alpha hero without being caveman-like. She knows
she can trust him, but at the same time thinks that it’s all
too sudden to feel such a connection with someone.
The Howl and the Pussycat is a great read and will
keep your interest until the very end – when you wish there
was more! |
