When
Valerie’s ex-husband kidnaps her with the help of his
cousin, she is not sure what he really wants with her. She
is finally moving on after their divorce and doesn’t
understand what he could possibly want. They haven’t spoken
to each other in over a year.
Stone
thinks that by kidnapping his ex-wife, he can have his way
with her and finally get her out of his system. But what he
doesn’t count on is that Valerie is still in love with him
and his plan just might backfire.
Stone’s Prisoner was not what I expected.
In the beginning I wasn’t too sure about Stone, his motives
for kidnapping Valerie and his apparent need for revenge
were really bothering me. I felt that if he had just talked
to her when confronted with the evidence, he could have
saved himself a lot of heartache and not be on this quest
for vengeance. Also, why Valerie didn’t do more to fight
for her man prior to the divorce really bothered me. With
that said, I was pleasantly surprised at how it all turned
out. Stick with it because Stone’s Prisoner
will be a fun surprise for you too.
