Bev is “the smart one”, in a group of seven friends who have been together since college.  She has a huge crush on Holden, who is “the pretty one”.  A game of Seven Minutes in Heaven gives Holden the opportunity to have Bev in his arms, finally.  Except, it all goes to hell and he is left wondering how everything went from perfect to so horribly wrong. 

Two years later, Holden is still clueless about what happened but determined to get to the bottom of the situation once and for all.  Thanks to a gift from his friends, Holden has another seven minutes to make things right.  Will it be enough time?

I loved Seven Minutes in Heaven!  It’s a wonderful story of friends becoming lovers.   Lena Matthews steams up the pages with Bev and Holden and gives just enough info on the other friends in their group to leave me panting for more. I can’t wait to read Book two in the series.
