| Meru Tanner finds a whole new world and a whole lot of
trouble on her birthday. But that isn’t all, she also finds
out she is the center of a prophecy and people are not
always who they appear to be.
Damon Arkadios is cursed and Meru is testing all of his
control. He must guard her, but he also plays a role in the
prophecy, a role he might not be willing to take.
Will the evil Damon is protecting Meru from destroy any
future they might have together or will it be Damon who
destroys Meru with the beast inside of him? Can Meru
convince Damon he is the one for her before it’s too late?
Lifting the Veil opens up a whole new world of
fantasy not only for the characters, but for me as well.
R.G. Alexander’s characters are complex and wonderful,
pulling me into yet another exciting world. Meru is a joy
who is open to all things supernatural. Damon is a tortured
soul that Meru is more than willing to heal. Even the
secondary characters are wonderful, but I would expect no
less from Ms. Alexander. She creates a wonderful get away
that I enjoyed and I hope Ms. Alexander has more in store
for this world because I would love to find out about these
secondary characters that she brings to life. |
