Elsie Myers can’t believe her luck.  Just as she is running into an office for a job interview it starts to rain and she becomes drenched.  Hoping against hope that she is able to salvage her makeup and dry off before meeting her perspective employer, fate is not on her side because right away she meets the man who is interviewing her: John Bennett.  He looks so familiar but she can’t place him.  However, that changes with the blink of an eye or rather, the knocking over of her briefcase and her favorite flogger falls out. 

When John Bennett introduces himself to the lovely woman he is supposed to interview for a job, he can’t help but admire her classic beauty. Trying very hard not to stare at her feminine assets, he contends himself with trying to place where he has seen her before.  It isn’t until a flogger falls out of her briefcase that John knows where he has seen her and what type of sexual being she is: a submissive.  Luck is with him because he just happens to be a Dom.

I really love how Cheyenne McCray writes BSDM.  Never over the top scary, she fits the two characters of Taking the Job together with the perfect blend of submissive and dominance that left me breathless.  John was dominant but I liked how he wasn’t a bully.  Elsie was a sub but she wasn’t a doormat.  They were just the right combination to make a great story.  I liked this one!
