Shannon is worried she has been tired lately like she was when she had cancer.  She has finally got her life back on track but feels no one will want her since she can’t have children.  She is attacked one night and pulled into an alley.  Grey happens upon her and saves her life.

Grey has been a vampire for more than 400 years.  He has led a solitary life and does not kill to feed which has caused more than one issue during his existence.  When he helps Shannon he is stunned to find out she knows about vampires.  He takes her back to his loft to help her heal, or does he have other motives.  He wants more but why would someone as beautiful as Shannon want to spend time with a man who can’t give her children and is immortal while they are mortal?  When he bites Shannon he finds that her cancer is back, but now they are both running from a vampire that wants revenge on Grey.

Double Penetration is a super hot vampire story by L. A. Day.  This story brings an interesting twist to a way to deal with cancer and the strength of one who has lived through it.  It is also has facets of romance mixed in with hot erotic sex.  I enjoyed the discussions about what Grey was willing to do as a vampire and what he was not willing to do, thus keeping some of his humanity in tact. I did feel that Greigor only being seen once, before the battle, was a bit of a stretch to the suspense part of the plot.  Double Penetration is a fast paced vampire story that many will enjoy.
