Sam knows his Gods and Goddesses
personally. He trusts them and counts on them to guide him.
There is one who he no longer worships though. Marcus left
physical and emotional scars on Sam, ones he is trying
desperately to free himself from, but as the God of Fear,
Marcus is not letting him go.
Sam gets some unwanted help from Deal,
his Goddess of Negotiation. Deal gets him to act on an
impulse he wouldn’t act out on his own, but Sam gains a new
master as a result. Maybe Hector and Sam will find something
to worship together.
In Chaos Magic Sam takes a
very intense, spiritual and sexual journey in order to find
himself and his reason for being. The outer shell of
Chaos Magic is quirky, funny and erotic. The inside
is much deeper. There is pain, mistrust, and turmoil as well
as peace, joy, love and acceptance. It’s an extremely well
written and poignant story.
