Tom hasn’t seen Lachlan in two years. He finally decides to send him a letter telling him how he feels about him. Lachlan shows up at Tom’s cabin, sure of what he wants from Tom and amazed at what he gets.

Laney Cairo has packed an incredibly deep story in twelve short pages.  As a short story, Unexpected in Common Hours is really good. It’s romantic, hot, and intriguing but as a novel it would be amazing.
