intriguing story. Jorrie Spencer has a wonderful way of
wrapping suspense and mystery together to keep you
guessing. The only issue I had with the book was with the
character of Link, Davidís nephew. He was supposed to be a
teenager and I felt he was written a lot younger than that.
Other than that, Ms. Spencer could do no wrong with this

in Ms. Spencerís series, but can be read as a stand-alone
story. I plan on taking a look at the first book in the
series and hope it is just as good as The Strength of
