After WWIII and the destruction of humanity’s world control, vampire’s come to power and keep the remaining human population split into Quarantine Zones.  Nadya has grown up in the N’work “Q’ Zone, raised by her Granny after her mother was taken as tribute to the vampire lord.

Now a young woman, Nadya is taken as tribute to the current leader of the DuMond clan, Jalen.  Nadya is a total mystery to Jalen as she wants to be taken by this vampire leader, she doesn’t fear him as all the past women have.  Rebel vampire leader Rem is making life very difficult for the DuMond clan as Jalen makes plans to marry Kumiko, daughter of another clan leader and she won’t share Jalen with anyone, especially a human mistress.  Tempers are becoming explosive and time is running short for these people as to who will survive after the dust settles.
