Vic Bayne and his lover Jacob are moving in together. They have a list of requirements for their new home including a good sized kitchen, no roaches and no ghosts. Vic is the Psych part of a PsyCop team.  Jacob is a Stiff the non-psychic part of a PsyCop team.  While Jacob searches for a place for them to live, Vic and his new partner Bob Zigler are working a missing person’s case where three people have disappeared. Vic may not want any ghosts in his home, but he may need a few to help him solve this case.

Body and Soul is another great story in the PsyCop series.  The ghosts are amusing, creepy or both and the storyline is really clever and very entertaining.  Vic is socially inept, a little tweaked in the head and sexy as hell. He’s not your average Joe! He’s low maintenance while being unbelievably complicated at the same time. Jacob is Vic’s totally hot, sexy, awesome boyfriend. I love them as a couple.  I wouldn’t be surprised if there was another PsyCop novel, and I wouldn’t be opposed to it either!
