Tamara Dobbs lives on her friend’s ranch
because it is convenient and allows her access to four cowboys
when she needs them. When her friend Savannah gets married,
Tamara finds herself at odds with her life and unsure of
emotions. Pondering these feelings Tamara runs from her
emotions and lands straight into the arms of newly hired
Dakota Blackhawk. Assuming her perfected attitude of blatant
sexuality, Tamara does what she does best; she hides her
vulnerability behind attitude. Only this time it doesn’t work
and she finds herself unable to stop herself from caring for
this quiet, enigmatic man.
Dakota Blackhawk can’t believe the Great
Spirit gifted him with such a woman. Not only did he not have
to look for his spirit mate, but she literally runs into him
without him having to even look for her. It’s too bad that
she hides her true self behind lewd innuendoes. Dakota knows
that Tamara is meant to be his, so he sets out to seduce the
vulnerable beauty. It is going to take a lot of time and
patience to gentle this filly and Dakota plans on relishing
every single minute.
I have been waiting on Tamara’s
Spirit ever since reading Savannah’s Vision. Nothing
prepared me for the intensely emotional journey I would be
undertaking while reading Tamara’s story. A lifetime of hurt
made her the woman she is today, but I loved watching Dakota
get past the barriers to the warm, caring woman beneath.
Tamara’s Spirit is truly a
good read. I found myself carried away and couldn’t put it
down. It was just that perfect. Nicole Austin has a winner on
her hands with Tamara’s Spirit and I, for one,
am glad to have read it. |
