What happens when you’re a professional matchmaker and the man you love wants your help in finding a virginal wife?

Josie Wright is a much sought after matchmaker.  After helping thousands of couples find love and marital bliss, She’s stumped with her newest client.  He wants to be matched within five weeks and he wants a virgin.  It’s too bad that he makes her heart pound and her face flush.  Plus, he ain’t too bad in the sack either.  What’s a girl to do?

Eric Stokes always promised himself he would be married and on his way to starting a family by his thirtieth birthday.  With doomsday only five weeks away, Eric resorts to becoming Modern Matchmakers newest client.  Eric should be confident and content in Josie’s ability to find the right woman for him.  The closer Josie gets to making a match, the more Eric realizes that in achieving his dream of a virginal wife might just mean losing the one woman he has been waiting for his entire life.

Like a Virgin was extremely sensual and very hot.  While I thought Eric very attractive and just downright sexy, I was a bit put off with him for having the audacity to be with Josie, but require someone different in a wife.  However, the more I read, the more intense Eric’s desires for Josie became, I knew that the time would come when Eric would redefine his priorities.

Like a Virgin is a great book that sucks you right in to the story.  I can’t believe that it was released almost two years ago and missed it until now.  Lacey Savage is officially one author I plan to investigate further for future reads.
